Common Questions
Is BooksMe free?
Yes. BooksMe is free to use.
Do I need an account?
No. BooksMe does not require you to create a personal account.
How do I capture something from a book?
Open Capture, add what stood out to you, optionally write your own reflection, choose the book, and save it.
When will a capture appear again?
Saved captures are automatically scheduled for future revisits. When one is due, it will appear in Today.
How do reading reminders work?
You can enable a daily reminder for a book you are currently reading. BooksMe will send a notification at the time you choose.
I’m not receiving notifications
Check that notifications are enabled for BooksMe in iOS Settings and that the reminder is enabled inside the app.
Why is Today empty?
Today only shows captures that are currently due for revisit. Keep capturing ideas from what you read and they will appear again over time.
My book cover or book information is not loading
Check your internet connection and try again. An internet connection may be required to fetch book information and cover images.
